Trading and the Holy Grail.

We all have the Holy Grail to beat this market game if we put in the hard work, study constantly, journal and tap in to what's between the ears.  There was a gentleman in our trade room this week that was taking our trial and ,I discovered later, watching 2 other webinars at the same time. We try to be honest with our potential clients and and  let them know there is no trading system Holy grail; only hard work, screen time, study, discipline and sticking to a method through thick and thin.  And we think we have a good one and a good educator to go along with it.  He was frustrated and wanted to know why if psychology was the key element,  couldn't we just program a system that takes that out? :)  Agh, the age old question and one that may never be answered. It probably takes MORE psychological willpower to trade an automated strategy as you see the drawdowns happen; pull the plul; only then to see it recover.  I wish him well, but feel he is probably on the system hopping, indicator-hopping, room-hopping spiral so many traders get into.  I sign up for a trial to this awesome room!  Everything looks great.  I follow along and decide I don't need to sim and take some live trades.  Woah, i made some money!  On the third day, the markets are flat, but I want to trade anyway and my account gets hammered.  This room is awful!  i need to find one that works.  You get the point and potentially it has been you? I am here to say you must find a rule set you are comfortable with and trade that rule set each day with discipline.  review your day and try to improve. this is the Holy Grail.  Hard Work! Losses will occur no matter who you are , who you follow and what your method is.  you have to accept that and move.  If you are still searching, I hope you will give us a try. Plans for updating, trade logging, videos, tweets and more!

The relaunch of our all new Ninja Room and trading products is very exciting  for us here at http://theintentionaltrader.com/index.html . It is challenging for me to decide how best to keep current and potential clients up to date with our trading, custom indicators, automated strategies, educational products and the like for a non-marketing guru. Hey, we really are traders too! In the weeks to come, I plan on updating here 2 or 3 times a week with a short video. This will give you a sneak peek into the room and how we and our clients are doing. Also you can check the daily trade log of out head trader by clicking the Trade Log link to the right or on the main website. Another idea I am kicking around is to send out the real-time trade signals for 1 market for the first 2 trading hours that are generated by out auto strat so be sure to "follow" me on twitter. I also want to write other helpful trading articles from time time on other aspect of trading such as psychology and business planning. I have struggled in this business for 15 years. I was "on the brink" as they say and about to give up when I happened upon The Intentional Trader website as I was heading out the door.  The solid foundation provided here along with Tony's patient and insightful guidance made a huge difference i my trading and my life.  That is why I am making it my mission to get the word out.
