SpeedTick Conservative Entry Method

The SpeedTick and First Touch trades are 2 trades that have various ways of entry based on the risk tolerance of the trader. We have a few moderately aggressive traders (experienced) with these indicators and the usage of them in combination with the reading of price action. Today I show a quick video on the more Conservative Method of entry that beginners can use and have a more defined rule set. I hope it is helpful.

Indicator Series: Pocket Dot

This is one of my favorite trades...the Pocket Dot. nice, simple trend retracement setup. I will get into usage in forthcoming videos. For now, here are the settings we use in the Room.

FTReset Settings

Pivot Lines with an Attitude. Support and Resistance is the basis for all our trading. These pivot lines can be customized across any data series you choose. They also give you a time calculation or relative strength of the line that price is approaching. We think they are great addition to any trader's toolbox.

OBOS Head's Up Display

Video 2 in my series on setting up our indicators. Here is our cool OBOS that shows Overbought/Oversold levels on the price bars so you don't need to avert your eyes to a lower panel.

Rolling Pivot Settings

I want to get us all on the same page with these indicators. Initially I will be adding the indicators one by one to the chart and showing the settings we use in the Room. then we will put it all together and begin a series of examples of each of the 4 setups we use. I hope it is useful...;)

I had a little trouble with my new draw tool getting everything out of my mouth correctly:) but I think you can see the results. These setups happen all day on all markets. Drop me a line if you have any questions about our room or indicators.

Show Me the Money

I say this all the time and I will continue to say it. I am not a self professed expert at trading. I have never worked on (or even been to) Wall street. I don't have any kind of degree in finance, worked for a brokerage or have any special accreditations. I am simply a day trader that has found a way to make trading a full time career and some insight on how others might be able to do it too.

That being said, I thought I’d go over my own personal approach to trading profits management from the trenches. You’ll need to have a trading account and you should have enough in the account to be able to trade it through a draw down period. For me, I started with $3500.

NOTE: This was my 3rd time to fund a new account. I had successfully blown it out 2 times before with some help from some egomaniacal trade room moderators/coaches that made me feel like an idiot because I couldn’t trade their system successfully.

Is the Trade log Real?

A lot of people ask us this question. there is no way, of course, for us to prove it without actually sending private brokerage statements which is not prudent to do. but we have a free room that you can come in everyday for as long as you wish and prove to yourself that what you hear does match the log that is posted on the internet. If you look at out our Archives, you will see amazing consistency in the Win/Loss/Breakeven rate.  Sometimes Tony will talk in trader slang as he is , after all, a Trader:)  but after a few weeks in the Room you will not need exact price exits or even entries as you will KNOW they are coming sometimes before he does.  Thanks.  IB

SpeedTick launches tomorrow!

We are very excited to release to the public our Intentional indicators. we are especially proud of the SpeedTick which will give you insight into volume surges by the market makers at potential turning points.  And here is a quick excerpt from out SpeedTick documentation you will receive with purchase. Major Indicator Release This Month

Trading is good, right? Well, it can be if you are successful and making money everyday and living the life you always dreamed. Sadly, this is not the case for most traders. We too have struggled along with the rest, but due to hours of screen time, hard work, study, cursing, review, sim, cursing and more hard work, we have finally arrived as successful traders. We then realized our passion is to not only trade, but to educate and help other traders find the same success. So we opened a Trade Room and invited people in and broadcast our Tradestation screen and it was good. But we knew it could somehow be better so we (Tony) decided to learn to code for Ninja and after much hard work, sweat and more cursing he was not only able to translate it to Ninja 7, but improve it. We are currently trading 8 markets through the end of February. After that, we plan to have multiple rooms with a variety of the current and additional markets. The chat is kept open to all for encouraging a true learning environment. The Indicators will release on February 14th. Trading and the Holy Grail.

We all have the Holy Grail to beat this market game if we put in the hard work, study constantly, journal and tap in to what's between the ears.  There was a gentleman in our trade room this week that was taking our trial and ,I discovered later, watching 2 other webinars at the same time. We try to be honest with our potential clients and and  let them know there is no trading system Holy grail; only hard work, screen time, study, discipline and sticking to a method through thick and thin.  And we think we have a good one and a good educator to go along with it.  He was frustrated and wanted to know why if psychology was the key element,  couldn't we just program a system that takes that out? :)  Agh, the age old question and one that may never be answered. It probably takes MORE psychological willpower to trade an automated strategy as you see the drawdowns happen; pull the plul; only then to see it recover.  I wish him well, but feel he is probably on the system hopping, indicator-hopping, room-hopping spiral so many traders get into.  I sign up for a trial to this awesome room!  Everything looks great.  I follow along and decide I don't need to sim and take some live trades.  Woah, i made some money!  On the third day, the markets are flat, but I want to trade anyway and my account gets hammered.  This room is awful!  i need to find one that works.  You get the point and potentially it has been you? I am here to say you must find a rule set you are comfortable with and trade that rule set each day with discipline.  review your day and try to improve. this is the Holy Grail.  Hard Work! Losses will occur no matter who you are , who you follow and what your method is.  you have to accept that and move.  If you are still searching, I hope you will give us a try. It is challenging for me to decide how best to keep current and potential clients up to date with our trading, custom indicators, automated strategies, educational products and the like for a non-marketing guru. Hey, we really are traders too! In the weeks to come, I plan on updating here 2 or 3 times a week with a short video. This will give you a sneak peek into the room and how we and our clients are doing. I have struggled in this business for 15 years. I was "on the brink" as they say and about to give up when I happened upon The Intentional Trader website as I was heading out the door.  The solid foundation provided here along with Tony's patient and insightful guidance made a huge difference i my trading and my life.  That is why I am making it my mission to get the word out.
